I agree that an Occupy movement is no place for small child, but it doesn’t appear that they were getting violent or that the child was in immediate danger. Perhaps something happened before or after the video footage?
In other articles where I cited endangerment of a minor, protesters used children to stop traffic on a busy street or as shields when they got into physical confrontations.

It seems more like piss poor parenting than endangerment.

Really?
In what shallow plane of existence is this endangerment of a child?
These men are at a protest. With their kids.
That’s all their is to it.
I’ve been to protests before with my child. There was no problems.
You people seem to think that this is some sort of crazy movement. This is a peaceful movement.
This is a PEACEFUL movement.
P.E.A.C.E.F.U.L.
So, you say it is P.E.A.C.E.F.U.L (wow, you can spell).
Tell that to the people in Oakland after the OWS protesters ran rampant through their streets, throwing rocks and bottles at the police, vandalizing buildings and setting fires. What is peaceful about that? Tell the people in New York who were harrassed when they tried to go to work and take their kids to school and had people chasing them and their little kids down the street, yelling “Follow the kids”…….
They can protest peacefully and no one would have a problem with it. Get together with your group, hold up your signs, chant your slogans, etc. But go HOME at night, stay out of the streets, let people come and go about their business. Campling out in public places, blocking streets and sidewalks, banging drums all hours of the night, public masterbation, sex in public, stopping people from going to work and school is beyond the pale. If other people don’t support your protest – too bad. You do NOT have the right to impose your opinions on others by making their lives miserable.
