Squatters confirm plan to occupy foreclosed homes

The Occupy Veterans rally in NYC  was used to rail against the wars, Wall Street, and discuss plans for their ‘Spring 2012 Offensive.  This community organizer confirms a story we reported on a couple days ago that the occupiers are now planning on moving into foreclosed homes as a way to confront the banks.  They claim that housing is a “human right” that supercedes a bank’s right to the property for failure of payment.  If the occupiers get their way, America will resemble communist Russia in no time.

    As a vetern, this seems really stupid to me. Afghanistan was necessary after 9/11. Iraq may or may not have been, but we’re already in the process of getting out.
    You want real vetern issues? Look at VA health care for disabled veterns, plans to cut military retirement, plans to cut tuition assistance, issues with PTSD veterns.

    Occupying foreclosed homes will futher establish OWS as vandals and thugs rather than peaceful protestors. In doing so, they will give law enforcement justification to disperse them by whatever means necessary.

    This isn’t about veterans rights or anyone elses rights this is all about tearing down our way of life . These people are an interesting bunch go to democratic underground and read what these people think to understand what we are up against. There are many sites out there that will make you scratch your head and wonder what ever happened to America

    Sadly, you’re absolutely right. OWS has more to do with Socialist agendas then with end corporate abuse and political corruption.
    There are a lot of people in this country that are very disgruntled and with good reason. Unfortunately a lot of them joined this movement without realizing what its really all about.
    As time goes on, I believe more and more people will realize that OWS is inconpatable with the ideals of democracy.

    We are either a nation governed by the rule of law or not. If mob rule is allowed to seize private property, for whatever reason, then we are not.
