“The whole world is watching”…Exactly! And the whole world, the rational majority of it anyway, sees a bunch of rotten punks freeloading off the rest of us, insulting and causing harm to persons and property, and reviling the public servants who are your only protection. If it were not for the police freedom loving people everywhere would have converged on you and given you what you deserve…a thorough beating and a bus ticket back to your mom’s house.

Oh my living god, to the woman in the third video. Really? REALLY? No sense and reason to it!? Destroying personal property? Threatening individuals just because they don’t agreed with you. Filthy health hazards? I say the cop was doing more than just following orders…

And it really irritates me how they are calling the police Gestapo, and a police state. Especially since it was socialist and communist governments who created massive police states!! Come on people!!! Read your f-ing history!!!

In our American society we can speak our minds without fear of jail as long as we bring no harm to others. Once you threaten someone else, then I think, good riddance! And for the record, I am a low income earning “protelariat” by their standards and I still think they’re idiots. Get a job and live within your means!! That iPhone isnt necessary, that laptop isn’t necessary. Those cigarettes aren’t necessary. Quite feeling entitled!

    *gets off soapbox*

This feeling of entitlement people have drives me nutts.
People griping about home and student loans. You don’t have to go to college and you don’t have to own a house. I worked full time while going to school and went to a community college the first two years. It sucked, but I have my degree and no debts.
I saved for 5 years to buy a house and searched until I found one I could afford.

I see these people who haven’t done anything for this country, but expect the government to just hand them everything.

For the record the iPhone is a waste of money. Laptops are nice, but people upgrade way too often. Cigarettes…we’ll just have to agree to disagree on that one. ;)

Exactly! I also worked full time and when to school full-time and part-time depending On what I could afford. When I graduated, I had about 6,000 in debt of student loans, a choice I made on purpose so I could graduate before I hit the ten year mark. And I PAID it off! I paid off my credit card debt! I didn’t expect someone else to do it!

I am sensitive On the cigarette issue because most of my grandparents died of horrible diseases associated with it.

      :)

I’m sorry for kidding about cigarettes. I enjoy an occasional smoke, but I realize its a sensative subject and I try to be considerate of nonsmokers.

One of the most annoying things about watching vids of the protest are all the people complaining about not making enough money, yet I see them smoking…which costs nearly $4-$5+ a pack now-a-days. Say you smoke 2 packs a day. That’s 8-10 bucks a day. $300 dollars a month. They’d be at least $300 dollars a month richer, but their not because they don’t understand money management and living within their means. They get cigarettes but they expect businesses to give them free food…

Entitlement = stupid losers who expect that they can do anything they want, but don’t want to deal with the consequences themselves…

(I’m not saying all of them are smoking, but it is a bit annoying to see someone complain about not having money, and then see them smoking)

See someone with a $800 iPhone, or a $999 MacBook….who the fuck paid for it? Did they? If they are like most 18 to 30 year old college students and others I know, mom and dad paid for it.

Everything I have, I paid for, with the exception of my tv and car. My friend gave me her old one when mine died because we do things like that for each other, and when my grandmother died I got her van in the will. Then, because I don’t need two cars…I GAVE my old two door coupe to my sister that was in a car wreck.

It’s called taking care of your personal business responsibly…something I don’t think the protesters get…and not begging, but being grateful when someone else makes the decision to gift you with something.

Going to restaurants and demanding food or saying that someone MUST give you food just because you are part of some socialist protest…is fucking ridiculous.

Sorry I know I’m preaching to the choir….I’m just irritated…

I’d like to see any of the protesters come knocking on my door….I’m a helluva shot…

I’m with you 100%. I have an Optimus, its not the newest, coolest phone; but it was $150. It will last me at least 4 years and since I have unlimited call time, I don’t need a home phone. My laptop in an Acer, not cutting edge, but I got it 3 years ago for $340 and will probably have it for another 3 years before I need to upgrade. I have an old tube type TV, its not an LCD or Plasma screen; but it works fine and I’m not replacing it until its worn out. When I buy a car, I buy it new and keep it fo 8-10 years. I don’t get one with tons of features I won’t use and then trade it in when something newer comes out. People laugh, but I have no credit cards and live comfortably.
It annoys me when people buy stuff they don’t really need with money they don’t really have; then get mad at the world because they can’t pay their bills.

Another thing: I’m tired of society putting out this ideal that everyone should go to college and everyone is “entitled” to a college education. There are a lot of worth while professions that don’t require a degree. Policemen, firemen, truckers, electricians, plumbers, merchanics all earn decent livings and don’t need degrees. If you can’t afford to go to college or you don’t have good study habits, obtain a skill or trade that you enjoy and pays well. If you do have a degree, don’t look down on people who don’t. All honest work is honorable!
