I can understand the lady’s frustration, but I also see why the cops acted the way they did.
With the violent antics of Occupy, perticularly towards police; there’s good reason ten police showed up instead of one or two. Maybe, just maybe the police have greater concerns than a backpack that was left unsecure. I know it sounds harsh, but what do you expect the police to do? Detain everyone in the area who has a backpack to see if it was the stolen one?!
Then the lady starts pestering them about her kids while they’re trying to fill out a police report about the backpack. She’s lucky they didn’t call CPS.
