DOZENS of partying Occupy Wall Street protesters descended on hipster Brooklyn Saturday night, clashing with police, throwing garbage cans and drinking beer out of a vacant luxury building.
The night was billed as a “Challenge to property relations party” in which the group planned to take over a building at the corner of N. Eighth and Driggs Sts. in Williamsburg, according to a flyer.
They hung Christmas lights, spray painted slogans like “F–k the police” and “Life is Protest” on the building walls, but were civilized enough to pack some beer on ice in the empty building at 208 N. Eighth St.
